Got a banjo from my dad-in-law

MrsZtp waited me to try playing it again (wow, has it been 5 years already). Of course, this is being borrowed, not owned. Though dad, a massive bluegrass fan, did say that if I got good enough he’d build me one.

Actually, he built me one before, but thought I lost interest so he lent it out to someone, in another state. Still, I love how me just lets me borrow any instrument. I have a borrowed accordion at my place too. The two pics below are of another banjo he built. It’s really beautiful; and although I have no pics of it, the back of it has pearl inlays that look like flowers.

I’m trying to get the rolls down. And the chords. I come from a bass guitar background, so using multiple fingers is a new concept to me, lol.
